A note about LCAC’s role regarding Indigenous modern treaty holder engagement.
Indigenous modern treaty holders, by virtue of their constitutionally protected agreements, have each secured the right to a nation-to-nation, government-to-government, and/or Inuit-Crown relationship, and thus all engagements must be directed to each modern treaty holder individually.
The Lands Claims Agreement Coalition (LCAC) does not take positions or engage on matters outside of modern treaty implementation issues.
If you are looking for information or contacts, LCAC will be glad to connect you with the right people in modern treaty governments and organizations.
