Seeking and maintaining profitable business ventures to generate wealth for Selkirk First Nation (a Yukon Fist Nation near Pelly Crossing) in a manner that respects the natural environment and cultural lifestyle of the Selkirk First Nation people is the mandate of the Selkirk Development Corporation (SDC).

SDC owns and operates several businesses and manages a real estate portfolio. Major SDC projects include the Minto Mine, a copper, gold and silver mine on Selkirk First Nation settlement land near Pelly Crossing, Yukon. The SDC partners with companies that provide services to the mine, per the terms of the impact and benefit agreement (IBA) between the mine and Selkirk First Nation.
