3. Understand what a modern treaty government is
4. Compare how Indigenous peoples were governed in the past with how modern treaty holders are governed now
5. Compare Indigenous governance under the Indian Act with Indigenous governance under modern treaties
6. Describe the types of organizations and services related to modern treaties
7. Describe the law-making powers of modern treaty governments
8. Describe in general terms how modern treaty governments are structured
9. Describe the relationships between modern treaty organizations and federal, provincial and territorial governments
10. Describe the role of the Land Claims Agreements Coalition (LCAC) and contact modern treaty holders.
