Tourism is another growing industry taking place on modern treaty lands, as visitors seek Indigenous cultural experiences. Tundra North Tours is an Inuit-owned company based in Inuvik, NWT.  Owner/guide Kylik Kisoun-Taylor is of Inuvialuit, Gwitch’in and Scandinavian descent. After learning from his uncles and grandfather about being on the land, stories of his people, and cultural traditions, Kylik wanted to share his passion for the Arctic with the rest of the world.

Tundra North Tours offers packages like the two-day Reindeer Experience, five-day Northern Adventure tour, and Arctic Explorer Education Package. They also provide film industry services and support such as helping with a commercial for the television program Ice Road Truckers.
